It is often the case where the “pool piping and equipment” installation is separated from the pool structural installation. Master Pools Alta Ltd. has specialized personnel who work in conjunction with the pool concrete installer, the electrical installer, the plumbing and heating installer, and the controls installer to provide the working pool piping, filtration, and chemical feed systems.

In many instances it is in the interest of the Owner of a new facility to have the design and construction of the swimming pools to be separated from the design and construction of the building. The most usual reason for that is to ensure that people who are truly experienced in the design and constructing of swimming pools are involved in the project. Master Pools Alta Ltd. has a team of professionals who can provide professionally stamped drawings for such projects and the construction people to implement the design. Currently our professionals are licensed to provide drawings in Alberta and British Columbia.

After many years of service it is often the case that a swimming pool may require renovation and up-grade. Often the up-grade is only superficial or cosmetic in that only tile, coping, and resurfacing is required. On some occasions there are structural problems that need to be addressed as well. Finally, on some occasions the function of the pool may need to change so there may need to be major reconstruction. Master Pools Alta Ltd. has the capacity to evaluate the need, provide accurate cost estimates for the project, and undertake the renovations as may be required.

There are occasions where accurate information is required by an Owner to do planning for their swimming pool facility. The information may be with respect to a general inspection of a pool for determination of “life-cycle”, an inspection to address a particular structural or mechanical need, or to provide accurate budget information for anticipated repair and/or upgrade. As well, our professionals can also work as “sub-consultants” to a larger team of professionals planning and new facility or planning a major up-grade to an existing facility.

It is very critical that when persons enter a swimming pool that they can be assured that the water quality is safe. It is the case that some of the traditional means of sanitizing swimming pools are proving to be insufficient to provide pool water that is safe and comfortable for swimmers to use. Some of these include Electrolytic Chlorine Generators (Salt Water Systems), Ozone, Ultra-violet, and Natural Enzymes.
